Mock Trial Team Makes Strong Opening Statement

Congratulations to the NHIS Mock Trial team, who was able to get their 1st Defendant acquitted last night at the First Circuit Court in Honolulu!

Charles Kaohu won an award for “Outstanding Defense Attorney” and Tala Ealim won an award for “Outstanding Defense Witness”!

Next week the team assumes the role of the “Prosecution” and challenge Pearl City High School. If anyone wants to come and support, Court begins at 5:00 p.m. and takes place at 777 Punchbowl Street. Thanks for supporting the kids!

wow, this is good news. Normally we only see things like athletics. Showing that our students are capable of so much more is always nice to see.
